APC Mentor – Quantity Surveying (Freelance / Remote)

Remote (UK-based) | Approx. a few hours per month

APC Support Limited is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) to support candidates preparing for the RICS APC.
This is a flexible, freelance role suited to an active APC assessor who is looking to contribute to the profession by supporting candidates through their final stages of preparation.

You will deliver:
– One-to-one mentoring sessions with APC candidates (via Teams)
– Formal mock interviews to prepare candidates for final assessment
– Targeted guidance on competency application and interview performance

Please note that this role is focused on verbal mentoring and interview preparation only. No documentation reviews or written reports are required.

Requirements:
– MRICS or FRICS (essential)
– Current or recent experience as an APC assessor (essential)
– Strong understanding of the Quantity Surveying pathway competencies
– Ability to provide clear, practical and assessor-level insight
– Professional, reliable and supportive approach with candidates

Engagement:
– Freelance / self-employed basis
– Approx. a few hours per month (flexible)
– All sessions delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams
