APC Mandatory Competencies – Module B: Business Skills
This APC revision module comprises of two units to choose from the list below and equates to 1 hour of formal CPD.
- Unit 1: APC Business Planning
- Unit 2: Accounting Principles and Procedures – UK
- Unit 3: Accounting Principles and Procedures – MENA
Once chartered, you may be promoted to a higher management role or decide to set up your own RICS regulated firm which is why you need to demonstrate a basic awareness of business skills during the interview.
This module will provide you with all the level 1 knowledge in Business Planning and Accounting Principles and Procedures. In addition, your APC trainer will explain you how to these mandatory competencies may be assessed within some of your level 2 and 3 technical competencies.
Advice to complete your summary of experience and examples of common APC questions are provided throughout the training videos. You will also be given access to associated study notes and revision materials.
