  Module A: RICS Regulations

  This APC revision module comprises of three units and equates to 4 hours 40 minutes of formal CPD.

  • Unit 1: Ethics, Rules of Conduct and Professional Practice – Part 1 (1 hour 40 minutes)
  • Unit 2: Ethics, Rules of Conduct and Professional Practice – Part 2 (2 hours)
  • Unit 3: Client Care (1 hour)

  The last 10 minutes of your APC interview will be dedicated to these two competencies.  A poor performance in these competencies will automatically lead to a referral, no matter how well you performed in other sections of the interview. This is the most important module in our revision programme and you will need to know the whole content inside out in order to pass your APC.

  Module B: Business Skills

  This APC revision module comprises of two units to choose from the list below and equates to 1 hour of formal CPD.

  • Unit 1: Business Planning
  • Unit 2: Accounting Principles and Procedures – UK
  • Unit 3: Accounting Principles and Procedures – MENA

  Once chartered, you may be promoted to a higher management role or decide to set up your own RICS regulated firm which is why you need to demonstrate a basic awareness of business skills during the interview.

  This module will provide you with all the level 1 knowledge in Conflict Avoidance, Management and Dispute Resolution Procedures. In addition, your APC trainer will explain you how to demonstrate level 2 in this competency for candidates who have selected it as an optional competency.
